Community Life: FAQs

How do I join the church?
Becoming a part of the Ebenezer UCC community starts by coming to worship. If you find that you would like to join the community of faith, Pastor Kevin offers New Member Classes throughout the year. These generally meet on Sunday mornings before worship.

How is the church active in the community?
Ebenezer UCC is active in the community in many ways. We host Cub Scout Pack 588, Brownie and Girl Scout Troops, 4 H clubs, Alcoholics Anonymous and other social events/meetings. Northwestern Youth Athletic Association uses the church fields for baseball and soccer.

What programs are available for my kids?
Children are a vital part of the program ministry at Ebenezer UCC. We have many programs available for children: Christian Education/Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, Children's Choir, Preschool and more. Child care is available for children up to kindergarten age during the worship time. Children are encouraged to attend worship services and Pastor Kevin's children sermons often take unexpected turns based on the children – similar to Bill Cosby. Also, we are always looking to expand our programs and broaden our reach.

How do I get more information?
E-mail Pastor Kevin at or call the church office at 610-298-8000.
